Ava understandably didn't eat much on her first day. It's all a bit unsettling having to leave your family and fly away to a new one in a strange place. But she had a few licks of cream from my finger - a trick I learned when Kato arrived. By late in the evening though, Ava had started to eat. I kept her on her regular diet so nothing strange would add an extra burden to her system. And she quickly settled in! Ava had already been brought up eating a mix of raw and commercial foods, so I tried her on some cubed rabbit with a tiny slice of chicken liver on night two. Wow! GOBBLED. She had the same again for lunch today (and no, normally I do not feed here, where carpet is involved, but it just made for a great picture!)
